Set Up a Custom Domain in Agency Handy

Use your own domain (like client.youragency.com) to provide a branded, professional experience for clients and team members.

1. Access the Custom Domain Settings

  • Log in to Agency Handy

  • Go to Workspace Settings > Custom Domain
    (Visible to Admins only)


2. Add Your Domain

  • Click + Add Custom Domain

  • Enter a subdomain like client.youragency.com
    ⚠️ Do not use www


3. Update Your DNS Settings

  • Copy the CNAME record shown on screen

  • Log in to your domain provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap)

  • Add the CNAME record exactly as provided
    ⚠️ Cloudflare users: Set Proxy Status to DNS only


4. Verify and Save

  • Return to Agency Handy and click Save Domain

  • Status will show Disconnected — this is normal!

  • Wait up to 48 hours and click Refresh to check

  • Once DNS is verified, status will change to ✅ Connected


5. Monitor Propagation

Use dnschecker.org to track your domain’s DNS propagation status across regions.


6. Delete or Update Your Domain

To delete:

  • Click Delete next to your domain

  • Confirm — your workspace will revert to the default URL
    You can re-add it anytime with the correct DNS settings.


Tips & Notes

  • Subdomain required (e.g., portal.agency.com) — no root domains

  • Use exact DNS details — mismatches will block the connection

  • Cloudflare: Must disable proxy

  • DNS can take time — up to 48 hours
